Digital Textbooks

We now offer online students a textbook option in digital format!

What is a Digital Textbook? A digital textbook is simply a textbook in digital format; the copy, images, and all the content is the same as in the hardbound version. With a digital textbook, the student views the content on their computer screen. Digital textbooks are compatible with both PC and MAC computers and require the use of Adobe Acrobat.

Features:

• Textbooks provided in as PDFs on a CD-ROM format.
• All content is identical to hardbound version, but viewed on a computer screen.
• Digital textbooks are compatible with both PC and MAC, and also require the use of Adobe Acrobat.
• The cost of digital textbooks is included in the course tuition.

Benefits:

• Personal Preference: Digital textbooks are an option for online students who prefer to have an electronic rather than hardbound text.
• Portability: Students can carry and use their lightweight CD-ROM wherever they go, as long as they have access to a computer.
• Aid for the visually impaired: the ability to enlarge the electronic copy of a CD-ROM is a benefit to students who have trouble with small copy in a hardbound version.
