Michael Linn

This profile of Mr. Linn was written by Cathy Soukup, Keystone student and member of the Keystone Connection staff. Following are excerpts from the Teacher Feature:
This month we have decided to honor Michael Linn as our Teacher of the Month! Mr. Linn works in the Keystone Credit Completion program at Keystone National High School, as an English teacher. His Keystone career began when he started helping his wife grade English papers for the L&E program. He gradually became more involved with helping, and has been working for Keystone for the past nine years.
Before beginning his job at Keystone, Mr. Linn chose to go to college and attended Bloomsburg College for one and a half years before turning towards the military for his future. After being in the military for a while, he changed his mind again and decided to return to college. Back at Bloomsburg he earned his Bachelors degree in English, after a few years of hard work. For the last 23 years he has taught a range of 9-12th graders as an English Teacher.
Mr. Linn feels that education has given him the opportunity to reach into people's lives better than any other career that he could have chosen. "The knowledge that things you have said and actions that you take helped shape people's lives is an extremely rewarding feeling." We are extremely lucky to have Mr. Linn as a part of our Keystone Community.
