This profile of Mrs. Cadwallader was written by Cathy Soukup, Keystone student and member of the Keystone Connection staff. Following are excerpts from the Teacher Feature:

This month we have chosen Mrs. Amy Cadwallader as our featured teacher at Keystone National High School! She teaches three courses at Keystone: Refresher Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra I. These courses are all correspondence courses. She started with only Refresher Math and Pre-Algebra when they were available, but then chose to take on Algebra I, as well. Algebra was always her favorite topic in math, and when her students ask for assistance she enjoys helping them understand algebraic concepts.Mrs. Cadwallader has wanted to be a teacher ever since she was four years old.

Mrs. Cadwallader decided to be part of Keystone because she felt that this style of homeschooling offered a great opportunity to work with scholars from all parts of the world. She loves finding out where her students are from, and equally enjoys the fact that she can individually help students with whatever is troubling them; this individual help is what sets Keystone apart from other schools.
