Ms. Koschoff teaches Keystone's correspondence and iSchool Driver Education course as well as Lifetime Fitness and Skills for Success through correspondence. She attended East Stroudsburg University, attaining a BS in Health and Physical Education and MEd in Physical Education, with Safety and Driver Education certification.
Ms. Koschoff has been part of the Keystone family for three years, and is also in her twenty-eighth year of teaching at Millville High School in Millville, PA, where she teaches Health, PE, and Driver Ed, and serves as president of the Millville Education Association. Becoming a teacher was always part of her plans; in third grade, she was taught by a wonderful woman named Emily Craig, who inspired her and made learning enjoyable.
Ms. Koschoff feels that distance learning is a great option, because students are able to learn at their own pace and each different learning experience can be tailored to fit many of todays different lifestyles. She believes that distance learning courses, such as the various subjects Keystone offers, provide students with quality educations. "The majority of Keystone students are dedicated and put forth the effort necessary to reap the benefits of the many courses Keystone offers," she says.
In addition to being a great teacher, she is a very dedicated coach as well. Ms. Koschoff coaches field hockey and softball in the Millville School District, and recently attained her 300th win in field hockey! Her teams have won league titles, and even fourth place in the state of Pennsylvania in 1987. She is also proud to have been inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.
Joann Koschoff is one of Keystone National High School's many great teachers, who is fulfilled by the simple things her students do and takes great pride in her profession. We wish her many great years with Keystone, and we are grateful for her!
