Keystone High School's Community

Homeschooled and Working Toward a High School Diploma

Many Keystone students have been homeschooled for elementary and middle school. As they reach high school, they are interested in getting additional curriculum and teaching support while still enjoying the benefits of a homeschool education. The flexibility of Keystone enables these students and their families to maximize a homeschool education.

"I had an excellent experience with Keystone. I learned many important values and tools that I can use the rest of my life. The teachers were very nice and the lessons were very in depth. I really enjoyed homeschooling through Keystone."

— Stephanie B.

"My parents are very enthusiastic about reading and learning, and they want us to have a superior education. [Keystone] has the best high school courses, the best materials, and makes a lot of sense."

"We moved out here three years ago and the school is a small K-12… the honors courses weren't very good… and it just wasn't really working out. I want to get into a good college and to do that I need a better high school curriculum and I need more opportunities. With Keystone, the classes are just right. There's enough in them that I am learning what I'm supposed to."

"We had tried an alternative school for my 7th grade year and it wasn't rigorous enough. The reason I went into home schooling was because I was in gymnastics [and other activities] and I was running out of time… I wanted to keep everything, but also make sure I focused on my education."

"If it's not challenging then you're not learning. And to me education is to learn… The goal is to take what I got from Keystone and apply it."
